Between the livestreams, workshops, and Discord feedback, this is easily the highest ROI in my trading stack. If you want to actually learn a sustainable approach, nothing beats it.

I waited 14 months to write this review. Erik completely changed how I approached building strategies. From three calls, I've made a sustained improvement in my trading over doubling the market return.

I didn't come from money or a network that could show me how to build it. I was raised by a low-income single mother in a high-crime area, and adversity showed up early.
Those experiences taught me that circumstances don't get to set your standards. The choices you make, the work you do, and the process you build do.
Standards over average.
01
In 2007, a high-school teacher introduced me to investing. It was the first time I saw markets as more than numbers on a screen - they were a way to build freedom through knowledge, discipline, and ownership.
That introduction changed the direction of my life, but it was only the beginning. Interest alone wasn't enough. I still needed to learn how serious operators actually approach risk and decision-making.
02
A trading mentor later pushed me to completely reconsider my approach. He showed me that sustainable trading isn't built on opinions, isolated wins, or constantly searching for the next setup.
It is built on meticulous preparation: a written trading plan, detailed logs, defined risk, and an honest review of every decision. That shift - from trying to find trades to building a repeatable process - became the foundation of how I operate.
03
Since then, I've spent more than 35,000 hours studying and operating in markets. The discipline I developed in the Marines reinforced the same lesson: preparation matters most before conditions become difficult.
That process helped me become a first-generation millionaire in my late twenties. More importantly, it gave me a framework I could continue testing, refining, and trusting as markets changed.

Outlier Trading exists to provide the structure I wish I'd had access to when I was learning. It is entirely possible to stumble your way through the markets alone and eventually figure out how to trade - but that path is painfully inefficient and leaves far too much to luck.
This community isn't built around alerts, hype, or shortcuts. It is a serious place for traders to prepare deliberately, build a repeatable process, and grow alongside peers who hold themselves to a higher standard.

What's up Outliers - I'm Erik
I'm a Marine vet, options trader, real estate and angel investor. My mission is to share my experience creating wealth through investing & trading - without the BS.
I've been where you are and know what it takes to succeed as an investor and trader. While it's not easy, it's entirely possible with the right mindset and approach.
I grew up with a low income single mom, in a high crime area (was even stabbed in the hand in high school). In 2007 I was introduced to investing by a high school teacher - it completely changed my life. I've spent over 30,000 hours honing my skillset and became a first generation millionaire in my late 20's as a result.
From high school to grad school, Marine training to trading, I never cared what "average" people did and focused on my own standards and objectives. The Outlier mindset was born. Investing enables me to do things I enjoy: traveling the globe, building cars, training hard, and sharing my skillset with others.
